Improved clinical decisions using peripheral OCT

Clinical Experience of Ultra-widefield fundus camera with ultrawide OCT
Shunji Kusaka MD, PhD / Japan
Dr. Kusaka will show us a variety of findings from his clinical trial of Silverstone. His clinical cases include lattice degeneration and retinal schisis where peripheral OCT demonstrates its potential power not only in clinical decisions but also for a better understanding of the pathophysiology of these peripheral pathologies.
Dr. Kusaka, professor and chair of Kindai University Faculty of Medicine, is a board member of Japanese Retina and Vitreous Society. His research interests include treatment of various vitreoretinal disorders, especially pediatric retinal diseases.

Clinical Utility of Multi-Modality UWF Imaging with Peripheral OCT
Netan Choudhry MD, FRCSC / Canada
From his clinical experiences with Silverstone, Dr.Choudhry will give us valuable insights into the clinical feasibility and utility of peripheral OCT imaging in retinal diseases. His ground-breaking research using peripheral OCT combined with UWF imaging is bringing a deeper understanding of peripheral pathologies and is driving improved clinical decisions and better outcomes.
Dr. Netan Choudhry is the medical director of the Vitreous Retina Macula Specialists of Toronto, and affiliated at both University of Toronto and Cleveland Clinic Canada. He has served on the board of directors at the American Society of Retina Specialists and Canadian Retina Society.
